How do the Spirit Elementals of Archsphere work?

There are two distinct aspect of each type of elemental - the psychokinetic abilty and the unique physical traits.

PSYCHOKINETIC ABILITY - Vitakinesis: They all have the general ability to telepathically communicate and/or manipulate cellular activity via an organism’s spiritual essence.

All essens have the ability to telepathically communicate with organisms with souls (highly conscious spirits, which would include all civil species) but essens can only read the surface thoughts of other individuals (the thoughts one would consciously think out loud in there head). Also an essen must obtain another’s spiritual consent in order to converse telepathically; an individual’s soul barrier can block out an essen’s telepathic link at will (like being able to mute a phone ringing or muting the knock on a door). The physiology of the telepathy is not fully understood considering essens don’t communicate through brainwaves, as scientists initially theorized, but through means of a much more spiritual essence.

The fuller extent of an essen’s ability is more specialized into three categories.

Zoovitakinesis - This is the specific ability of essens who have the strongest link with animals. These essen can easily communicate can command animals of lower spiritual levels so long as the actions don’t strongly go against instinct. These essens are also best known as healers; they can heal and stimulate the energy of another individual/animals and dramatically but temporarily increase their immunity and healing process. Another method, but usually last resort, is to heal by directing transferring their own life energy onto the patient. Many of these type of essens build a close relation with animal familiars.

Phytovitakinesis These essens have the strongest connection with plant life. The can easily sense life force and health condition of any plant. They are best known for there ability to stimulate plant growth - from germinating a single seed in their hand to stimulating a young tree to grow full size in minutes and can also manipulate its growth patterns.

Mycovitakinesis These essens have an almost identical abilities as phytovitakinetics, only they have the strongest connection with fungal life. This group is usually undermined and under appreciating to most civilizations ‘above ground.’ Almost all subterranean settlements, however, had been sustained and support have full appreciated the abilities of this group.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

***The only civil species without the spirit elemental race are the Rhamphors. There is only one sole physical attribute unique to essens no matter the species; essens are normally have a different eye color on each eye; the differences of color can range mildly, from light brown and hazel, to extremely different such as baby blue and dark brown.
